Try not to die! ^_^

Ha, yes. I was already fairly cautious but even more so now. Saved by my reaction speeds and somewhat convinced something up there was looking out for me and protected me :]

I couldn't be bothered to read it all, is there a short version?

You just read the top bit about the cartoon I'm working on and then maybe click the links throughout the post. Lots of cool animators on there.

I think your work is fantastic and hope to see more of it

Much appreciated. I try my best to stay focused between all this other shit, for your guys' sake, so thank you.

I read most of that. Your ex-coworkers sound like jerks.
Good luck with your recovery!

Awwe, thanks so much man. Recovering well now. Better than I thought I would, ever!
Yeah, tried to maintain respect for them.. even through all this. But signing my personal emails up for junk mail, for no reason and acting so maliciously was petty, childish and a step too far. Sad bastards.

A while ago you told me to read Manwatching and I just recently got around to buying a copy. It's pretty good!

Any new recommendations since then?

Ah yes, an excellent read. Be sure to also check out the TV documentary series, I believe it has the same name. Just search Desmond Morris on YouTube. Fascinating stuff.

Also I finished Gary Faigin’s Facial Expression book, that was great. Highly informative.

Currently reading Nancy Beiman’s: Prepare To Board (3rd edition)

That Force: Dynamic Life Drawing for Animators book looks interesting and been on my list a while. There's a whole series of different Force books, all focused toward animators.

Will Eisner’s: Comics and Sequential art, if you can find a reasonably priced copy

Dave Gibbons released one recently called How Comics Work .. that’ll be good, great comic book artist.

Also Disney’s Illusion of Life book has some great animation tips and secrets in.

Figure Drawing: Design and Invention by Michael Hampton gets lots of praise from animators too

If any others come to mind I’ll just edit this comment...

Super Hans is that u

Relax. It's not Blue Peter. Just a nice relaxing smoke of crack.

What we need to do is create a deep sense of dread. The longer the note, the more dread.

YEAH, WELL IF YOU'RE LEAVING NOW. DON'T EVEN FUCKING DREAM OF COMING BACK.

RIP? Farewell the old; welcome new life? :) The latter half of the post really dove to the dark side again, but top half was an inspiring one! Apart from one or two those names were all ones I recognize and respect. Don't think Luis is on the staff anymore, but otherwise... enlightening; entertaining; uplifting to read all that good stuff.

Good to hear things are going better for you too! Space project looks awesome, and that loop: mind-blowing. Read most of this post a few weeks back but it was just too long at the time, so maybe I'm forgetting some details now... anyway: future seems hopeful! Looking forward to seeing these newest artistic endeavors see the light; life keep getting better and better!

Rebirth and regeneration? I don't know about that!
The 1% of faith I have left is truly invigorating - the absolute best slice of humanity. Many of those mentioned in this post. I would say some of it is still dormant; knowing they are just braindead brainwashed zombies waiting to be deprogrammed. That in itself casts doubt though.

Things are getting better. Insurers turned out to be totally useless, didn't even take it to court or fight my case AT ALL. But me..Myself.. I'm all good. Wish I had more time to animate and work on this stuff. I seem to have less and less time now that I have to be proactive in recovery. Any spare time I get, I spend chilling on games or with friends to relax. Hopefully it'll all balance out soon :) good to hear from you, hope you're well dude.

Metaphorical, of course. ;) Though the metaphysical version is an intriguing mystery too... well, gotta keep that 1% alive! Hope feeds hope!

For sure, and hope you get well enough to get back to doing all you really want to do! Been on my yearly summer break myself so I'm feeling pretty good: :) Living down to Earth a while really clears your head; gives perspective. Takes away all the bad routines and distractions too.

You have met some pretty horrible people... there are decades of life ahead, I hope you meet better people. All the best!

I have indeed. Luckily I met some real good ones early on, who've stuck around when those evil ones wouldn't :) Thank you Jin! You too

what happened to 4cat?

O sheeeit. I dunno. That is sad times.
